It's giving season at RRTC! HOSA (Future Health Professionals) students are collecting throw blankets and grippy socks for a local nursing home. Donation boxes located in each building. Donations are due by December 15, 2024

HOSA Students in the Biomedical Science Academy have been busy preparing gift baskets to donate to Duncan Regional Hospital.

Krista Bowles from Life Share presented to RRTC Biomedical Science Academy and Practical Nursing students about organ and tissue donation. Points of emphasis included why donation matters, types of donations, and procedures to make donating successful. RRTC Pre-Engineering students are completing a navigation programming challenge using VEX Robots and inertial sensors. They are navigating the RRTC hallways, with a 294 ft course and multiple angles and turns. Today was a success!

RRTC Biomedical Science Academy PBS juniors are using aseptic technique to isolate bacterial colonies of an infectious disease they are studying. RRTC Biomedical Science Academy Biotech juniors are completing a physiological dissection of the yellow perch.

RRTC’s BMITE and Graphic Design students collected donations to prepare Thanksgiving baskets for three needy families last week. Christmas Helping Hands in Comanche supplied the names of the families. The baskets were delivered on Wednesday.

RRTC's BMITE students were in charge of the Veteran's Day assembly this year. We would like to thank those students and their instructors, Holly Kelly and Sarah Lemons, for planning this assembly. RRTC would like to thank all military personnel past and present for their service.
