Residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration

The goal of the Residential Heating and Air Conditioning program is to learn the basics of HVACR so students can repair, maintain, and troubleshoot the equipment that makes life more comfortable today.

The Residential Heating and Air Conditioning program provides students with the opportunity to gain the skills needed to be successful in this fast growing industry. Students learn to install, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning equipment, and basic refrigeration equipment. Students also learn how to communicate with customers and work with others. The Residential Heating and Air Conditioning program is part of the Architecture and Construction Career Cluster.

Equipment Used in Class:
All major brands of manufactured equipment found in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating are used.
