Enrollment Processes
Students prepare for a career as a licensed cosmetologist, manicurist, or esthetician through a variety of hands-on training opportunities in a salon environment. The Cosmetology program prepares students to take the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology exam.
Students will train in the classroom before graduating to the floor where they will have the opportunity to work on live clients. Upon successful completion of this course the student should be able to complete the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology Exam at a minimum of 75% on both written and practical exams.
The Cosmetology program is a two-year, part-time program open only to high school juniors age 16 and older. The Practicing Master Instructor offering is open only to licensed cosmetologists practicing two or more years.
