RRTC Auto Collision Technology students, Peyton Perry and Lilli Page are shown with the mailbox they painted for the local AMVETS. The mailbox will be located at the AMVETS office at 2115 West Beech Avenue. Anyone who needs to dispose of a worn or damaged American Flag can do so at this location. Proper disposal of an American Flag will ensure that the traditions and ceremony are utilized in the flag’s proper retirement.

During Career Expo, approximately 635 8th grade students explored occupations by touring programs at Red River Technology Center and by participating in presentations from local community leaders at the Simmons Center including representatives from Duncan Regional Hospital, Duncan Fire Department, Halliburton, and First Bank & Trust Co. We are thankful for these community partners and their commitment to providing a fun, educational experience for the students. This event inspires young people to plan for their future and to prepare them for the choices they will make during high school by exposing them to different career pathways. Thank you to Bray-Doyle, Central, Comanche, Duncan, Grandview, Marlow, Ryan, Temple, Velma-Alma, Walters, and Waurika for attending!
