Duncan Regional Hospital is partnering with Red River Technology Center Business and Information Technology Program to offer a work-based learning opportunity for student Alyssa Tolliver! This student is learning how to apply what she has learned in class with instructor Holly Kelly, into a real office setting at one of DRH Health Rural Clinics! With a multitude of paths to choose from and strong growth potential, there's never been a better time to explore career opportunities in healthcare!


Duncan’s 3rd graders had their Oklahoma Frontier Days today hosted by ONE Duncan. RRTC’s Pre-Engineering Academy helped with the Panning for Gold station, setting up the sluice operations, and helping the students strike it rich!
RRTC Auto Collision Technology students, Peyton Perry and Lilli Page are shown with the mailbox they painted for the local AMVETS. The mailbox will be located at the AMVETS office at 2115 West Beech Avenue. Anyone who needs to dispose of a worn or damaged American Flag can do so at this location. Proper disposal of an American Flag will ensure that the traditions and ceremony are utilized in the flag’s proper retirement.



RRTC's Emergency Medical Services students in Mr. Prater class have been practicing applying air splints and traction splints this week.
RRTC will host an English Language Learner class Monday and Thursday nights, 6-9 pm.

RRTC Students in Mrs. Snider’s Biomedical Science Academy celebrated pi day by calculating pi based off the circumference and diameter of their pie. They also calculated the percentage of the pie they ate using angle measurements and area.

Red River will host Parent/Teacher conferences tonight from 3-6 pm. All parents and guests are invited to attend.
During Career Expo, approximately 635 8th grade students explored occupations by touring programs at Red River Technology Center and by participating in presentations from local community leaders at the Simmons Center including representatives from Duncan Regional Hospital, Duncan Fire Department, Halliburton, and First Bank & Trust Co. We are thankful for these community partners and their commitment to providing a fun, educational experience for the students. This event inspires young people to plan for their future and to prepare them for the choices they will make during high school by exposing them to different career pathways.
