DRH Health is thrilled to have partnered with Red River Technology Center to host business student Josselynn Smith for her On-the-Job Training (OJT) with our DRH Business Center Team. During her time with us, Josselynn applied the skills she learned in class with her instructor, Mrs. Holly Kelly.
The best part? Josselynn will soon become an official member of the DRH Health team and begin her career in the Business Center!

The RRTC BMITE BPA (Business Professionals of America) had their annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive. The students contributed items to provide families a feast for the Thanksgiving Holiday. They are very grateful to RRTC administrative staff for providing the turkeys for their baskets.

RRTC’s Biomedical Science Academy students competed in a hand turkey contest. Junior winner was Kit Mills and senior winner was Julianna Holt. The teachers were the judges. The winners won a hand turkey with popcorn and goldfish crackers and a gift card to HTeaO Congratulations, Kit and Julianna!
Congratulations to Rikki Bell, RRTC ‘s first graduate of the adult Cosmetology Program. Enrollment is now open for the adult Cosmetology Program which begins in August. For more information, contact RRTC’s counselor.
RRTC Cosmetology students are completing a duplicate cut to see if they will be eligible for the SkillsUSA barbering competition. The instructors gave them a picture of a cut and they had to duplicate it in one hour. The same grading scale was used for this duplicate cut that will be used in the competition. The four students out of thirteen with the best scores will be selected to compete in the actual competition.
RRTC's annual Advisory Banquet was held Monday, November 18. We would like to thank all of the people who took time out of their busy schedules to attend. RRTC appreciates all of our community and business partners for their continued support regarding industry needs.

RRTC's AM session is cancelled for Monday, November 18, 2024 due to severe thunderstorms moving through the area. The PM session will begin at the normal time. All morning staff will report at 10:00 am.
