At the annual Partners in Progress celebration on Tuesday, the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE) and Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers (OATC) presented the Partners in Progress award to Texoma Masonry. Texoma Masonry
Masonry has always been in Joe Galvan’s blood. Joe came from humble beginnings. His father was a mason, so Joe grew up watching and learning the craft from his father. Seeing his dad’s creativity and work with brick and mortar lit a fire in Joe and along with that fire came a passion and a dream of owning his own masonry business. In March of 2018 a dream was realized when Joe opened Texoma Masonry. Through hard work and dedication, Joe established his high caliber of work in the local building sector. In 2020, while covid was wreaking havoc in the building sector, Joe remained steadfast and determined to succeed. While many companies closed their doors, Joe continued to have faith and through that faith and determination, Texoma Masonry continued to prosper and grow. In 2022, Joe and Tiffany, his wife, decided it was time to take the next step in growth and they sought the assistance of the Business and Industry Service Center at Red River Technology Center. Through help from Red River’s APEX Accelerator, small business coordinator and safety coordinator they have been able to thrive and secure several government contracts. As a second-generation mason, Joe is actively involved in all aspects of the business, including marketing, bidding, and project management. From brick mailboxes and fireplaces to large commercial projects, Joe is there to see that they all adhere to his high standards that he has set for his craft. Texoma Masonry’s mission is to offer reputable, high caliber structural masonry services that will bring beauty and pride for generations. Joe and Tiffany have big plans for the future and they look forward to serving the building industry for years to come.
