Mr. Lillard was a patron of the Duncan Community and supported Red River Technology Center training. At the time of his death he wanted to donate monies that would be used to help an adult student. The scholarship is awarded through the Oklahoma Communities Foundation. The recipients are Kristopher Anton, Melissa Ausmus, Harley Heaton, and Sarai Huizar.
