Lion’s Club names Students of the Month at RRTC for November
The Duncan Noon Lion’s Club has named Red River Technology Center Electronics Technology student Brea Edens and Biomedical Science Academy student Aaron Barnard as Students of the Month for November.
Brea Edens, a senior at Central High School, has been active in basketball, cheerleading, FCA, and serves as secretary for FCCLA. At RRTC, Edens is active in SkillsUSA and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society.
In the community, Edens volunteers her time with the humane society, at her local church, teaching young children cheerleading, and as a mentor for Starbase 2.0. She has also served as a RRTC Ambassador for two years.
After graduation, Edens plans to attend Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology and pursue a career in aviation electronics.
Aaron Barnard, a senior at Comanche High School, is active in football, basketball, student council, yearbook, sports communication, and the National Honor Society. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
In the community, Barnard volunteers his time with Beautiful Day and various other organizations.
After graduation, Barnard plans to attend college and earn a degree in Kinesiology and Sports Medicine/Exercise Science and then continue to physical therapy school to become a doctor of physical therapy.
