Several Red River Technology Center students, from three different programs, recently competed and placed at the HOSA-Future Health Professionals State Contest. Winners were:


Practical Nursing students who placed at the State HOSA (all post-secondary):      

Carly Mann (Rush Springs) – 2nd Place in Medical Reading

Dane Smith (Duncan) and Rickey Wylie (Comanche) – 2nd Place in CERT Skills

Marissa Beeson (Duncan), Charlie Romero (Duncan), and Stephanie Carrasco (Duncan) – 1st Place in Community Awareness

Kassie Hekia (Marlow) and Jessica Church (Duncan) – 3rd Place in Health Career Display


Health Careers students who recently placed at State HOSA:

Micah Harris (Central) and Brayden Strange (Walters) – 2nd place in CPR/First Aid

Arianah Lindstrom (Homeschool); Sam Richardson (Velma); Cheyenne Cain (Empire); Rachaele Stephenson (Homeschool); and Bethany Fullmer (not pictured, Empire) – 5th place in Public Service Announcement.


 Biomedical Science Academy students who recently placed at State HOSA:

Trey Hunt (Empire) – 5th in Biomedical Science

Brooklin Bain (Comanche) – 5th in Sports Medicine

Micah Elroy (Marlow) – 1st in Prepared Speaking

Chloe O’Conner (Marlow) and Haliegh Bradley (Central) – 5th in Forensic Medicine
