Lion’s Club names Students of the Month at RRTC for March


The Duncan Noon Lion’s Club has named Red River Technology Center Biomedical Science Academy students Rebecca Bailey and Nathan Wright as Students of the Month for March.


Rebecca Bailey, a Duncan High School senior, is active in band, National Technical Honor Society, and serves as President of the HOSA – Future Health Professionals chapter.


In the community, Bailey has volunteered her time at the Stephens County Area Science Fair, Operation  Christmas Child, and with her church teaching Sunday school, children’s church, and helping with Vacation Bible School.


After graduation, Bailey plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and study biomedical engineering. She is also considering attending medical school to become an oncologist.


Nathan Wright, a senior at Central High School, is active in FFA, baseball, 4-H, Inter-Tribal Agriculture Community, and the National Technical Honor Society.


In the community, Wright volunteers his time with the Hulen Fire Department, Central High Food Bank, the Duncan Fall Classic, the Cystic Fibrosis Walk, and makes and delivers holiday baskets within the Central High community.


After graduation, Wright plans to attend Oklahoma State University and earn a degree in wildlife biology. He hopes to pursue a career as a veterinarian.
