Lion’s Club names Students of the Month at RRTC for January

 

The Duncan Noon Lion’s Club has named Red River Technology Center Health Careers student Cheslyn Hesbrook and Pre-Engineering Academy student Justin Miller as Students of the Month for January.

 

Cheslyn Hesbrook, a Duncan High School senior, is active in band and color guard. She is also a member of the RRTC chapter of the National Technical Honor Society and HOSA-Future Health Professionals.

 

In the community, Hesbrook has volunteered her time working canned food drives and Christmas caroling at nursing homes.

 

After graduation, Hesbrook plans to attend college and become a registered nurse or dental assistant.

 

Justin Miller, a senior at Bray-Doyle High School, is active in football, baseball, track, cross country, band, National Honor Society, Health Careers Club, and student council. At RRTC, he is a member of the National Technical Honor Society, a RRTC Ambassador, and a member of the Red River Robotics team.

 

In the community, Miller has volunteered his time with Hannah’s Hearts, SMART CAMP, the Stephens County Youth Focus Group, the Bray-Doyle Academic Booster Club, the Stephens County Area Science Fair, the Bray-Doyle Food Bank, and at the RRTC Veteran’s Day Assembly.

 

After graduation, Miller plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and major in kinesiology and health. He hopes to continue his education in graduate school and earn his doctor of physical therapy degree and work with college athletes.
