Leyrer Receives Award

Congratulations to RRTC Electronics Technology instructor Bill Leyrer on his award of appreciation from the US Army!
Mr. Leyrer received the award for his part in an on-going DC/AC Electronics Technology Credentialing Program initiated by the U.S. Army Air Defense Corps based out of Ft. Sill, Okla., that is provided at Red River Technology Center. The Electronics Credentialing was achieved through weeks of diligent study and hands-on practices aligned to the standards set forth by the International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians.
“What a great honor it is to receive this award of appreciation and to be able to give back to those who give so much of themselves each and every day,” said Leyrer.
The award of appreciation was presented by Troy L. Garza, CW4 US ARMY FCOE, on behalf of the 30th ADA Brigade Commander, COL Baxter, 3-6 ADA Battalion Commander, LTC Scott and the 16 members of the US Army, 140L Air Defense Artillery Warrant Officer DC/AC Electronics Technology Credentialing Class.
