Lion’s Club names Students of the Month at RRTC for January

 

The Duncan Noon Lion’s Club has named Red River Technology Center Health Careers student Deanna Butler and Electronics Technology student Brandon Brock as Students of the Month for January.

 

Deanna Butler, a senior at Comanche High School, is active in the marching band. She is also working to become fluent in Spanish and enjoys travelling.

 

In the community, Butler has volunteered her time at the Stephens County Fairgrounds helping to serve the community Christmas dinner.

 

After graduation, Butler plans to attend East Central University and become a registered nurse. She hopes to continue her education to become a physician’s assistant and work in pediatrics.

 

Brandon Brock, a senior at Empire High School, has been active in yearbook, academic team, Key Club, Spanish Club, UTL Competitions, and National Technical Honor Society.

 

In the community, Brock volunteers his time with Connection Church, Houses of Happiness Orphanage, and through activities with Key Club.

 

After graduation, Brock plans to attend Oklahoma State University and earn a degree in electrical engineering.
