Lion’s Club names Students of the Month at RRTC for November

 

The Duncan Noon Lion’s Club has named Red River Technology Center Health Careers student Angela Gattenby and Electronics Technology student Rydder Greenway as Students of the Month for November.

 

Angela Gattenby, a senior at Central High School, is active in cheerleading, student council, Book Club, and serves as the baseball team manager.

 

In the community, Gattenby has volunteered her time at Duncan Regional Hospital and a coat drive for HOSA.

 

After graduation, Gattenby plans to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She hopes to become a registered nurse or nurse practitioner.

 

Rydder Greenway, a senior at Comanche High School, has been active in National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, band, and Starbase 2.0. At RRTC, he has been a member of the National Technical Honor Society and the RRTC Ambassador Team.

 

In the community, Greenway has volunteered his time at food drives, at church camp, and serves as a mentor for the Starbase 2.0 program.

 

After graduation, Greenway plans to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University and earn a degree in computer science. He hopes to pursue a career in IT for a self-made company.
