Lion’s Club names Students of the Month at RRTC for October

The Duncan Noon Lion’s Club has named Red River Technology Center Business and Information Technology Education (BITE) student Randi Linton and Health Careers student Harold Moran as Students of the Month for October.

Randi Linton, a senior at Ryan High School, is active in softball, showing cattle, Beta Club, National Technical Honor Society, FFA, and the Business Professionals of America (BPA).

In the community, Linton volunteers her time at community dinners, community trash pickups, and with the following BPA community service events: Chain of Love, Breast Cancer Awareness, Food Drive, and Winter Coat Drive.

After graduation, Linton plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in Ag Business and/or Ag Education. She would like to teach Ag Education for a few years and then use the Ag Business degree to start her own show calf operation.

Harold Moran, a senior at Duncan High School, has been active in band, wrestling, soccer, HOSA, and serves as a class officer.

In the community, Moran has volunteered his time at his church, with Hannah’s Hearts, as a RRTC Ambassador, and gathering donations for children at Christmas.

After graduation, Moran plans to further his education either through the RRTC Practical Nursing program, Cameron University, or the Oklahoma City Community College Physical Therapy Assistant program. He would like to become a physical therapist or registered nurse, or possibly even start a business that would help people get to where they would like to be in life.
